Nurminen Construction prides itself on its commitment to safety.  A safe workplace begins with strong management commitment, and it is reinforced through comprehensive and continuous training. Every full-time member of our team – ranging from owners, project managers, foremen, and carpenters – is an OSHA 30-trained, Qualified and Competent Person. Each employee, at every level, can properly address how to recognize, avoid, correct, and prevent safety and health hazards on our job sites.

Our team is empowered not only to recognize safety issues but to effectively correct them before injuries occur.  At Nurminen Construction, we have a strong commitment to safety and continuously emphasize this commitment through toolbox talks, weekly meetings, and jobsite inspections, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability on every project.  We internally track each employee’s training to ensure they are always up to date.

Each one of our projects always begins with a site-specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP), which is shared with all project members.  We believe that all accidents are preventable – we protect our people and deliver safer, more cost-effective outcomes for our clients.
